By Simone Rowley

This piece of work is a triptych taken from a series of 10 pieces.
The motivation for the pieces was about bringing together human and animal counterparts in a spiritualistic partnership in a fun way.
I asked each of the models in the pieces “what animal would you be and why?” This chose their animal partner.
The animal chosen is a reflection of the person in the piece, which in turn reinforces my decision to mirror the animals with one another, and each colour was chosen simply by whatever the favourite colour of the model is.
An overall fun expression of identity and how people perceive themselves depending on the animal that they chose.
